Q: A child falls while you are alone with them (parents at work). They have a small cut on the knee — what do you do, step by step?
A: I rush to the child and help him or her up.
I calm the child as go for a first aid kit if at all there is one .
I clean the cut so that the child does not get an infection in the absence of a kit a use warm water I ensure the child is comfortable and no longer in pain.
Q: A stranger at the gate says they are close friends with your employer and need to wait inside, but nobody warned you — what do you do?
A: I immediately call my employer and inform him or her of the situation i ask the person his or her name and inform my employer as I also give my employer a detailed description of the person and then I wait for instructions from my employer on how to proceed.i will follow those instructions to the latter.
Q: How do you store leftover cooked food (such as stew or soup) in the fridge safely?
A: I transfer the soup to a small container where it fits and cover the soup.i then place it inside the fridge in the lower region not the freezer.
Q: Your employer asks you to do something you were never trained for (e.g. bathing a newborn the first time) — how do you respond?
A: I first rush to put off the stove and then I return to attend to the child once the child is calm and okay I return to the kitchen and take care of the food.
Q: You are alone with a baby — food starts burning while the infant is crying loudly. What do you do first and why?
A: I became honest and inform my employer that I have not done that before and then I request my employer to give me instructions on how to do the job and I follow them with utmost care.
