NADI Home Services — Terms and Conditions
Welcome to NADI Home Services (“NADI,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contractual agreement between NADI and all users accessing our platform, including Service Providers (“Workers”) and Service Recipients (“Clients”).
By registering an account, submitting documentation, or procuring services via nadiconnect.co.ke or any associated subdomains, you unconditionally accept and agree to abide by these terms.
Section 1: Mandatory legal disclosures & compliance
1.1 Corporate status and nature of service
NADI is a professional domestic management and service platform. NADI provides vetting infrastructure, matching algorithms, background verification, and ongoing administrative and payroll management systems.
Workers grant NADI explicit consent to collect, store, and process national identification records, criminal background checks, references, and professional histories, and to display authorized profiles to verified Clients.
Clients grant NADI consent to process contact details and residential data strictly for service fulfillment.
All user data is securely hosted on local cloud infrastructure to guarantee data sovereignty and compliance.
1.3 Strict non-circumvention (off-platform poaching)
Clients and Workers are strictly required to process all bookings, communications, renewals, and financial transactions exclusively through the NADI platform.
Any attempt by a Client to directly or indirectly hire, contract, or retain a NADI-introduced Worker outside the platform without our written consent will result in the immediate termination of the Client’s account.
The breaching party shall immediately be liable to pay NADI a contractual liquidated damages penalty of KES 30,000 per violation.
Section 2: Worker onboarding & registration matrix
2.1 Profile activation options
To be listed in the NADI verified professional directory, a Worker must successfully clear our background evaluation and activate their digital profile via one of two legal pathways:
- Administrative vetting fee path: Pay a non-refundable, one-time processing fee of KES 50 via our integrated M-PESA or Paystack payment gateway. This payment covers the direct administrative cost of profile validation and identity verification. It is strictly an administrative fee, not a job placement or recruitment fee.
- Organic referral path: Successfully refer three (3) new unique Workers to the NADI platform using their system-generated referral link. The referring Worker’s profile will automatically transition to “Active” status upon the third successful registration.
2.2 The 90-day lifecycle and dormancy rule
To maintain data integrity and ensure our directory features only available personnel, all Worker profiles are subject to an automated activity audit:
- Continuous account inactivity (failure to log in, accept assignments, or update availability metrics) for a period of three (3) consecutive months (90 days) will cause the system to automatically flag the profile as Dormant.
- Dormant profiles are instantly hidden from active Client searches.
- To restore profile visibility, the Worker must pay a KES 50 Reactivation Fee or successfully refer three (3) new users to initiate a new 90-day active cycle.
Section 3: Client hire pathways & engagement terms
Clients agree to be contractually bound by the specific operational rules governing their selected tier on the service dashboard:
3.1 Path 1: Direct search
Scope of service: NADI grants the Client access to browse the verified digital directory to identify and contact Workers independently.
Liability disclaimer: Direct Search is entirely self-managed. NADI assumes zero liability for the interviewing, selection, or subsequent performance of the Worker. The employment or service relationship is strictly bilateral between the Client and the Worker.
3.2 Path 2: Hiring assistance (one-time placement)
Scope of service: Upon payment of a non-refundable processing fee of KES 1,500, NADI will actively source, vet, and match a suitable Worker based on the Client’s specific criteria within forty-eight (48) working hours.
Replacement warranty: Should the matched Worker terminate the engagement or be dismissed due to verified misconduct within the first fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of deployment, NADI will provide one (1) complimentary replacement match within 48 business hours. Matches after the 14-day mark are considered fully executed contracts.
3.3 Path 3: House help management (premium professional service)
Scope of service: A fully managed, long-term corporate service starting from KES 20,000 per month. NADI retains complete administrative, training, and operational oversight of the domestic placement.
Financial and payroll lock: The Client must remit the total monthly management invoice to NADI on or before the 25th day of every calendar month. This consolidated payment encompasses the worker’s salary, statutory deductions, and NADI’s administrative management fee. Late payment constitutes a material breach and will result in the immediate suspension of services and the withdrawal of the Worker.
Statutory compliance: As the professional management entity, NADI handles the administrative calculation and processing of all statutory contributions ensuring the placement remains fully compliant with Kenyan labor laws.
The continuous service guarantee: In the event of a managed Worker’s illness, planned leave, or sudden termination, NADI will deploy a fully vetted temporary or permanent replacement within 48 to 72 hours at no additional cost to the Client.
Termination protocol: Cancellation of a House Help Management subscription requires a minimum of 14 days’ written notice to NADI before the next billing cycle.
Section 4: Limitation of liability & indemnification
4.1 Assumption of risk
The Client acknowledges that permitting an individual access to private residential or commercial premises carries inherent risks. While NADI applies professional vetting and identity-tracking protocols, the Company shall not be held liable for any loss, property damage, theft, personal injury, or civil/criminal misconduct arising from a Worker’s placement.
4.2 Client obligations
The Client covenants to provide a safe, respectful, and legally compliant working environment. Workers reserve the absolute right to decline tasks that are hazardous, unethical, or entirely outside the job description submitted during booking. The Client agrees to fully indemnify NADI against any third-party claims arising from a failure to maintain a safe working environment.
Section 5: Jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this contract shall first be subjected to amicable informal mediation between the parties. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts sitting in Nairobi, Kenya.
